For my second Tutorial I wanted to discuss what I have already written to see if I'm going in the right direction. The feedback I received was useful as it has helped me to thin about the structure of the essay. It was suggested to changed the introduction round and have the paragraph about perception come after what the statement of what the essay aims to achieve. I just need to continue with writing at the moment then once I feel I have enough written about the theories of organisation I can start to think about the practical side. At the moment I have a rough idea of what I want to design. I am thinking of creating a website that uses the theories in the layout to show the synthesis between the writing and practical.

After some thought I realised that I need to change the focus of my title from editorial to web design. I have decided to do this because I realised editorial design is not where my interests lie. Know I have changed the focus to website design I feel a lot clearer on what I need to do.
In order to make a start I have made a rough guide of the structure to give me some areas to research. This is only a starting point so it expand and change naturally as I find out more information.
I had my first dissertation tutorial today and I now have a better title and some areas to explore. For the next tutorial I have been asked to try and have a structure to my writing and have a good idea of what I will be making for the practical side.
